Six in ten directors and business leaders see personal or reputational risk as the main deterrent to serving on state boards, according to new research. A survey of 382 company directors and business leaders published on Monday by the Institute of Directors Ireland found that three in five were concerned about potential reputational damage from sitting on the board of a state body.
