The Australian government will establish a $2 billion finance facility to help fund green energy and infrastructure investment in South-East Asia, to tap into spiralling demand for renewable power in the region between now and 2050. The facility will provide loans, guarantees, equity and insurance to help bolster trade and investment with the ASEAN bloc. This initiative is one of the recommendations made by Mr Moore and will be announced by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at a CEO summit.
