The accused include Mluleki Ndobe, a member of KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Executive Committee, who is also mayor of the Harry Gwala District Municipality and uMzimkhulu municipal manager, Zweliphani Skhosana.Magaqa and two others were shot and wounded after being ambushed in uMzimkhulu in July 2017.Another ANC mayor was arrested during the weekend for a different case.Related video click below:
