ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — When Danny Fellingham opened Tee Box Indoor Golf four years ago on Stavanger Drive, he was surprised a business like this one didn't already exist.
“Once people were done with the simulators, we would watch groups say, ‘Where are we going now?’ because we didn't have anywhere to sit them,” said Fellingham. “By doing this, we're able to give people a place before and after to sit and socialize,” said Fellingham. “We also have various obstacles and you can make the holes as easy or as hard for your opponent as you want.”Fellingham believes mini-golf will also draw in a new crowd of people and get them interested in the game. In addition to the new bar are and indoor mini golf, Tee Box's new location on Freshwater Road also features a small pro shop. - Cameron Kilfoy/The Telegram
