But by tokenizing this property, the seller could increase their liquidity and offer more people the chance to invest in the property and earn income on it. They could convert ownership of the $10 million property into 10 million tokens, with each token representing a tiny fraction of the total cost.

• The Bank for International Settlements , in collaboration with seven central banks createdto tokenize cross-border payments. The goal of the project is to reduce costs, increase speed and enhance transparency in international transactions.Despite the opportunities it offers, asset tokenization has challenges to overcome. The technology is new, and people are still learning to understand and trust it.
