Worker at Houston Farmers Market shot to death by two men trying to steal golf cart, police say

"If anybody knows who they are, please contact us. This individual didn't deserve what happened to him. He was just doing his job," an investigator said.HOUSTON — An investigation is underway after police say a man in his 40s was found shot to death in the employee parking area of theA witness told Houston police two young men were seen on security cameras trying to steal a golf cart.

HPD said they have a security video that clearly shows the suspects. They said the two ran away south on Airline Drive. Police believe they couldn't have gotten far as one of them was wearing flip-flops. "I think they are close by," said HPD homicide detective D. Crowder."Somebody in this area definitely knows who they are. If they don't want to give their name, they don't have to. If anybody knows who they are, please contact us. This individual didn't deserve what happened to him. He was just doing his job."
