This past weekend a group of Black Muslims in South Africa made history, when they hosted their inaugural Black Muslims Conference. The gathering was exclusive to only black Muslims and part of the aim for this conference was to outline the status of Black Muslims in South Africa and to share ideas and expertise on how to improve their conditions.

It was also to outline the role of Black Muslims, economically, socially and educationally amongst other things.
