Deputies with the Travis County Sheriff's Office responded to the market after multiple gunshots were heard in the parking lot. After interviewing several witnesses, deputies identified the suspect as 55-year-oldAn affidavit obtained by KVUE alleges Saucedo-Rodriguez was involved in an altercation between two families inside the flea market, possibly over someone's ex-girlfriend.
According to the affidavit, Saucedo-Rodriguez was spotted walking to his black Toyota pickup truck to retrieve a pistol, before allegedly waiting in the parking lot to confront the victims. Police said that's when Saucedo-Rodriguez opened fire, hitting three people. Saucedo-Rodriguez was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and remains in Travis County Jail on a $50,000 bond. Meanwhile, deputies are still searching for a second suspect, identified as 30-year-old Luis Felipe Saucedo-Rojas.
