This race is going to focus on abortion even more than it already has, thanks to a candidate who is more than willing to carry the water for her chosen cause. Harris is not just pro-abortion. She is vehemently opposed to any reasonable restrictions on abortion. She has used her power in office to obliterate the weak while attempting to remove religious freedom protections.
In 2016, Harris used her position as California’s attorney general to raid the apartment of David Daledein, who caught her buddies over at Planned Parenthood discussing the fees they charge for body parts of aborted babies, a violation of federal law. Many pro-life groups called on her tofor the abuse of power and conflict of interest, as Planned Parenthood was a major donor of her campaigns.
Harris has raked in donations from EMILY’s List, which donates to women who unabashedly support abortion; the Center for Reproductive Rights; and WomenCount, a PAC founded by a longtime supporter of Hillary Clinton. EMILY’s List has said it plans to , allowed abortion at any point in pregnancy for any reason. So maybe she was clear without saying that she does support abortion up to birth, a view with which the vast majority of Americans disagree.
You and I will be forced to pay for abortions, for gender surgeries, for everything that is fundamentally against our most deeply held beliefs. Harris is ultimately controlled by an industry that despises people like that. I cannot even begin to imagine the havoc those groups will wreak on this country if they get their way.
