A parent of one of the victims of an alleged racism incident at the Pretoria High School for Girls has expressed disappointment and shock following the allegations.
The parent who did not want to be named, to protect the identity of his daughter, says it is disappointing that the school has allowed alleged racial attacks to continue. Twelve learners from the school are currently suspended and their disciplinary hearing will be held next week.“I think the school has a code of conduct; I feel it must be followed to the letter. This should not be allowed at a school. It must be an environment that is free from racism, prejudice and so on. And if anything, they must focus in their school work. These are very distracting and quite honestly, very hurting.
