Ahead of the new American football season, NFL insider John McClain gave insight into Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and the current state of the team.

'Roger the Dodger' was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1942. In 1961, Staubach entered the U.S. Naval Academy where he played quarterback for the Midshipmen, marking the beginning of an illustrious career in the sport.

'Captain America' graduated from the Naval Academy in 1965 and begun volunteering for a one-year tour of duty in South Vietnam, serving as a Supply Corps officer for the Navy at the Chu Lai base area until 1967. Staubach spent the entirety of his career with America's Team, making five appearances in the Super Bowl, winning two .Staubach was making around $160,000 a year in the NFL around the time of his retirement in 1979.
