The S&P 500 enters the new week of trading less than 1% away from its all-time high set in July.

My top 10 things to watch Monday, Aug. 26 1. Wall Street is headed for a muted open Monday. After a strong week, the S & P 500 is entering the session less than 1% from its mid-July all-time high. On Friday, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell indicated an interest rate cut was on the horizon. We'll get the latest reading of the Fed's favorite inflation gauge on Friday. 2. The most-hyped event of the week: Club holding Nvidia's earnings report Wednesday night.
