Ramaphosa will engage with business leaders as part of attracting foreign direct investment to SA.

President Cyril Ramaphosa arrives at the United Nation Headquarters in New York, United States of America for the United Nations General Assembly on September 22, 2024.Ramaphosa is set to focus on a number of issues such as the maintenance of international peace and security, the Sustainable Development Goals and implementation of the 2030 agenda, the upcoming climate change talks in Baku, Azerbaijan and financing for development and pandemic preparedness.

Ramaphosa is accompanied by several cabinet ministers including International Relations and Cooperation Minister Ronald Lamola, Minister in the Presidency responsible for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Maropene Ramokgopa and Health Minister Dr. Aaron Motsoaledi, Environment, Forestry and Fisheries Minister Dr Dion George and Trade, Industry and Competition Minister Parks Tau.
