SOLAR power provider HQ Company Special Energy Philippines has partnered with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority to launch a rooftop solar installation project within the Baguio City Economic Zone .The partnership aims to transform underutilized rooftop spaces into renewable energy sources, enhancing the sustainability of local industries.
Once operational, the company will also handle energy distribution.The energy from the rooftop installations is expected to meet a significant portion of BCEZ's energy demand.For its part, PEZA will facilitate regulatory approvals and offer fiscal incentives to participating businesses to ensure a supportive framework for the initiatives.It will also offer fiscal incentives, such as tax breaks or duty exemptions on imported equipment for businesses participating in the project.
