Boeing announced on Friday it will be laying off 10% of its workforce — about 17,000 employees — over the next several months. “Our business is in a difficult position, and it is hard to overstate the challenges we face together,” Kelly Ortberg, CEO of Boeing, said Friday in an email to employees.
