Nine Entertainment will release the results of an independent review into the culture of the media company to its staff on Thursday. An email sent to staff on Wednesday thanked them for taking part in the review and announced the findings and recommendations would be shared with them on Thursday. Then-chief executive Mike Sneesby and the board had requested the review amid serious allegations of sexual harassment and a toxic culture within its news division.

“Please do not hesitate to reach out for support if you should need it.” The serious allegation included claims about former director of news and current affairs Darren Wick’s alleged inappropriate behaviour toward some staff members. He has since left the company. Soon after the review was requested, it was also announced both Sneesby and Nine chair Peter Costello were leaving the company.
