“Mandy offered an investment opportunity in an initial public offering of shares, promising a return of 80% on the invested capital. “The scam was uncovered when the victim was asked to make an additional payment of RM15,000 to withdraw the promised profit. The investigation will also explore the involvement of mule accounts and action will be taken against the account holders involved, he added.
