The Broad Street Market will soon feature two new vendors that will bring more vegan options to the Market, the Broad Street Market Alliance announced Thursday.

Honey Bear Ice Cream—which offers gluten-, soy- and dairy-free products—was first featured at the Market in July of 2021, with a tent in the courtyard, according to a news release. The Stone Building location will be the ice cream shop's first brick-and-mortar location.

Ve’Lightfully Vegan is based in Harrisburg and makes vegan soul food. This will also be its first permanant location, the Market said. “The Broad Street Market can’t wait to welcome these new vendors to the Market community,” said Eric Hagarty, Chair of the Market. “We are excited that Broad Street Market customers will now have a greater variety of vegetarian and vegan options to choose from, and we are honored to be the first permanent home for Natalie and Marilyn, the inspiring women who run each respective business.”

The Market's Stone Building is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Market's temporary tent is open Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
