One of the best things about Christmas has to be the many festive markets and quirky gifts you can find each year. Sometimes, there's nothing quite like walking through a packed corridor of punters, hopping from vendor to vendor trying to find that perfect Christmas treat.
Known for its recently banished love locks, tarts and pudding, the market town is the only town in the Peak District and is enshrouded with delightful countryside and an array of cute little villages. The town hold a market each week - and has done for more than a century - so, as you would expect, the town folk are looking to put on quiet the show next month.
Around 100 stalls are set to be scattered across the town centre which, alongside a local brass and silver band, a choir and a DJ, is set to bring an immersive festive experience to families and locals in the town. As well as your classic food and drink stalls, including mulled wine and cider, bratwurst sausages, minced pies and burgers, a range of activities are set to keep the little ones occupied as well.
