A West Mercia Police statement said: “Officers were called to the A53 in Market Drayton at around 3pm today to reports of a collision involving three vehicles. One man was taken to hospital for further treatment, although his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.” A West Midlands Ambulance Service statement added:"We were called to reports of an RTC at the junction of Adderley Road and the A53 in Market Drayton just before 3pm.
"An ambulance and paramedic officer were sent to the scene whilst a Community First Responder was also in attendance. On arrival, crews discovered three cars had been involved in a collision.
