A forensic tent and police cordon were set up in Walworth, South London, following a fatal stabbing incident that left one man dead and two others injured. A man in his 60s has been arrested in connection with the attack, according to the Met Police.

Commander Peter Stevens, from the Metropolitan Police, said: 'Tragically, a man lost his life this morning, and officers are working hard to establish exactly what happened and to provide support to his family. This morning's triple stabbings happened by a street market in south LondonOfficers were called at about 10.40am on Sunday to reports of people being stabbedPolice have arrested a suspect in his 60s after the incident at a street market in Walworth this morning at around 10.

'I want to thank those people who have already shared their accounts of what they saw with police. I urge anyone with information or footage, or any witnesses yet to speak with police, to get in touch.' 'We treated three people and took two of them to a London Major trauma centre. Sadly, despite our best efforts, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.'
