JAPAN: China's Li Shifeng won his first badminton title since last year's Asian Games after beating Malaysia's Leong Jun Hao in the Japan Masters final in Kumamoto on Sunday.

PUTRAJAYA: A company owner was detained for four days on suspicion of involvement in a fraudulent claim amounting to approximately RM10mil.

According to sources, the male suspect, who is in his 40s, was arrested while appearing to provide testimony at the MACC Headquarters at 7pm on Saturday . This suspect's arrest follows the recent arrest of a former senior engineering manager associated with a basic necessities production company. Last week, the manager was involved in false claims and fraud totalling approximately RM2mil.
