PETALING JAYA: Marine robotics company Ocean Infinity is set to be involved in the search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 for a second time. The company was previously involved in an unsuccessful attempt to locate the aircraft, deploying the Seabed Constructor from January to May 2018.In addition to the MH370 search, Ocean Infinity successfully located the wreck of the Argentine submarine ARA San Juan, which disappeared on 15 November 2017 in the South Atlantic during a training exercise.
In 2019, the company also successfully located the French submarine Minerve, which disappeared in 1968.Ocean Infinity also provided the latest underwater vehicles for the successful 2022 discovery of famous explorer Ernest Shackleton’s ship, Endurance, in the Weddell Sea off the coast of Antarctica.
