Party leader Julius Malema addressed supporters celebrating the party's 6th anniversary.

Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema has applauded the people of Mpumalanga for making the party the official opposition in the province. Malema is addressing supporters at the KaNyamazane Stadium near Mbombela in Mpumalanga who are celebrating the party’s 6th anniversary. He expressed his concern about corruption in the province, saying that it has collapsed service delivery in various government departments.
