A pro-secular group is sounding the alarm over the government's religious freedom bill, arguing it seeks to allow further discrimination. The draft bill - which would make it unlawful to discriminate against someone on the basis of their religion - already drawn criticism from religious groups.

National Secular Lobby ambassador Fiona Patten has also registered concerns, arguing the bill would effectively "override" other anti-discrimination laws.
