Thousands come out in Joburg and Soweto to celebrate Springboks’ World Cup victory

Springboks Captain, Siya Kolisi holds his fist up and hugs the Webb Ellis Cup as he acknowledges the Soweto crowd during their trophy tour.

“I am more in interested in seeing Siya Kolisi. He is the first black Springbok captain. He is an inspiration.” One of those gathered in downtown Johannesburg was Lwandleluhle , who had traveled with his friends from Protea Glen, Soweto to “see Siya Kolisi face to face.”Lwandleluhle came from Protea Glen in Soweto to see the Springboks.

A young lady in the crowd at Riverlea was looking forward to seeing Cheslin Kolbe, but to her disappointment it was not to be.
