A couple of rural road projects in Ilagan City are underway in a bid to improve the livelihood of farmers in those parts of Isabela province, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced.

“Residents, especially the farmers from rural areas in the City of Ilagan, will soon enjoy easier and faster transportation of their agricultural produce as the DPWH-Isabela First District Engineering Office is currently implementing various road concreting projects in this town,” the agency said in a statement.

The 4,815 meter long road project in Barangay San Antonio, on the other hand, is about 42 percent complete as of this month, according to District Engineer Evelyn Costales.
