.profgalloway to Twitter's executive chairman: Replace CEO Jack Dorsey

A part-time CEO who is relocating to Africa? Enough already.

Twitter has, on every metric, underperformed peers for several years. Since Mr. Dorsey's return to the firm in July 2015, shareholder return is –15%, vs. Google +153%, Facebook +129%, the S&P 500 +50%, Dow Jones U.S. Media Index +29%, and MSCI tech index +115%. The stock has experienced substantial contraction of its earnings multiple as the market is losing confidence in management, the board, and the firm's prospects.

The poor citizenship of Twitter is bad. What's worse is Twitter's malfeasance coupled with scant benefit to stakeholders. The platform is all the calories of big tech without the great taste . At least tobacco stocks performed well. Political scandals happen daily under this administration. The president has tweeted about nuclear war. He becomes more erratic under pressure. How will the next bout of nuclear war tweets be handled? Whom, if not the CEO, are those delegated to?

profgalloway Which such strong case outlined in this letter, I'm curious what the response will be. If this was a non-tech company, no way their CEO would remain in place - Can you imagine P&G's CEO being a part-time, Africa living executive?

profgalloway Prof's dissection of Twitter and its performance must be hard for Dorsey to take. But we've seen that hard truths are necessary for critical decisions. Twitter truly needs new drive, features. Jack's a great guy, I think he'd have a good thought about this and make the best of it

profgalloway Finally a good news for Twitter shareholders

profgalloway well, do you expect a better saner sounder advise from a professor? Those that know, do. Those that understand, teach. profgalloway knows no shit but understands a lot of it.

profgalloway Galloway is gonna clean house at the Twitter headquarters.

profgalloway Financial advisor here... I own Bitcoin and 6 other crypto currencies. I wouldn't personally recommend it for all my clients but if you want to own it.i definitely don't think it's a bad idea. Keep 90-95% of your portfolio In a traditional model and take some risks with 5-10%
