Microsoft’s $69 billion purchase of Activision Blizzard could harm competition by letting Microsoft restrict Activision’s video games to proprietary platforms such as Xbox, UK officials said Wednesday, in the latest challenge to the tech giant’s blockbuster acquisition.
Cloud gaming services grant players access to video games without the need for downloading the games to a local PC or console. Microsoft has said that it is willing to make “Call of Duty” available to competing platforms for a period of 10 years with no restrictions on pricing, features, content or other terms. “We are committed to offering effective and easily enforceable solutions that address the CMA’s concerns,” Microsoft’s deputy general counsel, Rima Alaily, said in a statement Wednesday.
Nice (someone had to say it...)
Then Sony should be investigated for wanting to buy WB Gaming
COD is not like it was before, I would prefer Sony to come back with Resistance, it has story, cooperative and multiplayer mode.
I think it’s a great idea.
💯 harmful transactions.
All Microsoft has to do in that case is refuse sales and service of products in the UK. ALL of their products. We’ll see how long the British government likes being shut out of Windows.

Lets be perfectly honest with ourselves here, if Microcrap did restrict Activision games to Xbox only, sales would plummet and they would lose a lot of income as the Console Wars are pretty much settled. This is basically bullsnot
It would be illogical to make large titles Xbox only that would eat into half of game sales. Game exclusively are always titles that are not large aimed towards giving the platform some distinct games. Sounds like they don’t know the industry well
Sony has been feeding these lies for a while now.
Wtf who cares? Im unfollowing
Nice
