A former Senator who represented Kaduna Central district, Shehu Sani, has condemned the remarks made by the leader of the Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, Pa Ayo Adebanjo that Nigerians should be prepared for a post-election crisis if the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi does not win the next election. According to Adebanjo, there will be nothing like united Nigeria if Obi’s presidential bid fails this year.

You Can Market Your Preferred Candidate But Can’t Threaten Us, Shehu Sani Condemns Adebanjo’s Controversial CommentsAccording to Adebanjo, there will be nothing like united Nigeria if Obi’s presidential bid fails this year.

According to Adebanjo, there will be nothing like united Nigeria if Obi’s presidential bid fails this year. He said, “Forget Nigeria if you don’t vote for Obi. I am not boasting and it is not a threat. When we say we must come together, is it by cheating one of us? Is that equity, justice and peace?”“They are making all sorts of devices to ensure that power remains in a particular part of the country. That’s why they are not even supporting the candidate of their own party.

“If we lose this election, there will be no opportunity for a non-Christian, a non-northerner to be president again,” he had added.

El rufai your boss is doing same

ShehuSani I don't remember what you said when ganduje said the 2023 election is jihad(?)

El rufai your boss is doing same

I really don't understand why anyone feel threatened when they hear Nigeria may break up regardless of who win this election. Why must Nigeria be made to look like a do or die affair? One Nigeria is never a must, give way to those who want to go peacefully.

Sir, second time I disagree with you because so many northerners and imams are threatening everyone in the country long before he responded.

By now I expect DSS to invite him to explain meaning of the statement he made. This is what in 2010 when someone said he will make ungovernable for Jonathan because he declared to run for elections

Pa Adebanjo thank you for standing for the truth. May God continue to bless you Sir.

Tell the old man to his ears and let him go & seat down

Northerners always feel threatened when Southerners talk but when their people talk up there, they are always deaf.

Who is 'us'? North and South are not on the same page. This marriage got to crash.
