The committees, which Mahan formed as he took office last month, assessed the problems and issues the new mayor highlighted during his campaign to succeed former Mayor Sam Liccardo: housing and homelessness, community safety, clean neighborhoods, downtown vibrancy, and planning and permitting. The City Council will hear more about the recommendations Tuesday at their regular weekly meeting.
