This earnings season, investors were surprised by some grim forecasts of slower growth from a range of tech companies with big consumer businesses: Apple Inc. AAPL, Etsy Inc. ETSY, Airbnb Inc. ABNB, eBay Inc. EBAY and Amazon.com Inc. AMZN.
