Taguig City signed an agreement with the Department of Trade and Industry to integrate the city’s Business Permitting and Licensing System with the agency’s Business Name Registration System Next Gen.
Mayor Laarni Cayetano and DTI Secretary Alfredo Pascual sealed the partnership on May 2 at the Convention Center of the New City Hall for the digital integration of their two systems to allow online verification of business names registered with DTI. Secretary Pascual highlighted the partnership’s potential to enhance the efficiency of the business environment, particularly for micro, small, and medium enterprises in Taguig.“The DTI and Taguig City signed a memorandum that signifies our unwavering commitment to a government approach in nurturing an efficient business environment in our country.
On her part, Mayor Cayetano emphasized the city’s commitment to utilizing digital technology to improve governmental processes.
