Harrisburg City Council voted 4-3 in favor of Alexander Building Company to be the sole construction manager of the Broad St. Market rebuild.
Mayor Wanda Williams, amongst many others, voiced their stance on the council's decision, claiming that the unfavorable vote would cause construction of the Broad St. Market to be delayed, and thus, lose funding from the state. Question everything. And that's what I did," Councilperson Rawls said. "I went in. I questioned. I got facts. The process was flawed and we need to change that process today.
