Hibs sporting director Malky Mackay admits the club could delve into the free agent market after missing out to Luke McCowan to Celtic in a dramatic deadline day at Easter Road.
Hibs were however able to bring in full back Jack Iredale on a permanent transfer from Bolton while versatile midfielder Nectarios Triantis also rejoined the club on a season-long-loan deal from Sunderland. Speaking to the club's website, former Cardiff City and Ross County boss Mackay said said: "We went into deadline day looking to add two or maybe three players to the group. It took all day for that to happen for various reasons.
