Passengers will be required to wear masks on American, Delta, and United as airlines try to convince passengers to fly again

American, Delta, and United all announced their policies on Thursday, following JetBlue — which announced its requirement on Wednesday — and Frontier, which announced its policy earlier on Thursday. Alaska Airlines announced a similar policy on Friday. United's mask protocol, which also takes effect May 4, requires masks to be worn on board aircraft, while Frontier's policy goes into effect May 8. Alaska's policy begins May 11.

Sara Nelson, president of the Association of Flight Attendants, said she was pleased with the airlines' decisions, but called on the federal government to enact a formal requirement for passenger masks.

Are they going to actually sanitize planes after each flight? Because all they do now is just pick up peanuts wrappers.

Show a good mask in any store... Crap from online overseas r no quality

The airlines will have to supply these masks.

AND GO WHERE

GOOD. 👏🏼 People need to take more responsibility and protect themselves. If people don’t like it, they can simply stay home or drive.

Bad things are always going to happen in life. People will hurt you. But you can't use that as an excuse to hurt someone back.

no way I'm paying to get into a pressurized tube with 200 other people breathing the same fucking air for hours !!
