Bruno Le Maire said Thursday on French television channel Public Senat that 'I will not go to Riyadh next week' for the conference, known as 'Davos in the Desert.' Several top business executives have cancelled their attendance, as has the head of the International Monetary Fund, Christine Lagarde. Saudi Arabia has a very long & disgusting history of human rights abuses. The fact we’ve had such close ties to them while asserting we ‘bring freedom & democracy’ is just another of our unfortunately very untrue.
