The National Institute of Communicable Diseases latest COVID-19 report shows that 3222 new cases have been detected in the last reporting period.
Due to the ongoing audit exercise by the National Department of Health, there may be a backlog of COVID-19 mortality cases reported. On Sunday, the department reported 2 new deaths in the past 24-48 hours. This brings the total fatalities to 100 303 to date.
