The real estate market in the Quinte region has cooled off considerable. The Quinte and District Association of Realtors reports only 217 homes were sold last month.
Association President Valerie Miles says it seems both buyers and sellers seem to be waiting to learn the impact of recent interest rate hikes. However the more comprehensive year-to-date average price was $634,549, 12.4% higher than the first 10 months of last year.
