The strike affected all of the UC system's 10 campuses, including those in Berkeley, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, Davis and Los Angeles. Strikers and students manned the picket lines at numerous locations.

"UC continues to negotiate with the union and is committed to working collaboratively with the UAW to find solutions to outstanding issues," the UC Berkeley administrators said.
