The Taguig City government announced a traffic rerouting scheme will be implemented on Jan. 9 for its business permit renewal.

“A temporary rerouting scheme will be implemented on Monday, January 9, 2023 to provide Business One-Stop Shop clients easier access to the Convention Center, New City Hall Building at Cayetano Blvd, Brgy. Ususan. Please be advised and plan your trip accordingly,” the city government posted on its Facebook page. The traffic rerouting advisory for Jan. 9

Its business permit renewal and payment of business taxes started on Jan. 3 and will run until Jan. 20 including weekends. Clients can go to the Convention Center or the SM Aura Satellite Office on the ninth floor of SM Aura Tower in Barangay Fort Bonifacio. For the traffic rerouting scheme, the city government said there will be “no left turn to Palar Tunnel for vehicles coming from Cayetano Boulevard and C-5 Service Road. Motorists going C-5 Southbound are advised to use Pinagsama C-5 Service Road until Waterfun, then turn right to Bayani Rd., then right again to C5.”

The city government earlier announced that “starting January 2023, in line with the law on Ease of Doing Business, business owners who are renewing their permits no longer need to physically secure the required clearance from their respective barangays.” “The City Government has integrated the process of securing a barangay business clearance with the main renewal process with Business One-Stop-Shop ,” it said.
