Meta’s Reality Labs lost a staggering $13.7 billion last year—six times more than Mark Zuckerberg’s pet project took in, CNBC reports.
Zuckerberg has insisted thatis the future of the company that used to be known as Facebook, but right now the incubator of a virtual reality universe is a sea of red ink. In announcing earnings on Wednesday, Zuckerberg said he’ll be focusing on “efficiency” in the coming year, including at Reality Labs.
