Angry residents repeatedly interrupted a railroad company official at a contentious town hall in East Palestine, Ohio, on Thursday

“We’re going to do the right thing, we’re going to clean up the site,” said Norfolk Southern representative Darrell Wilson as shouts were raised from those in attendance. “We’re going to test until we get all the contamination gone.” “No, you’re not!” one voice cried out. Norfolk Southern, the operator of the train that derailed on the evening of February 3, has faced continued criticism from residents in the area, some of whom report illnesses they believe stem from the crash.

Jon Husted had suggested the company should temporarily or permanently relocate residents who feel unsafe. “I think that the railroad should consider buying property of people who may not feel safe or would want to relocate as a result of the spill,” he told CNN on February 23. “This is the railroad’s responsibility, and it’s up to the government officials at the federal, state and local levels to hold them accountable and do right by the citizens of East Palestine.

Because they bein railroaded!

So, the victims that are terrified and feeling abandoned and helpless are the bad guys? Shouldn’t the railroad company have their feet held to the fire for their negligence instead? Interesting view of CNN’s reporting.

Why did JoeBiden admin change the classification of vinyl chloride 11 days prior to the incident? Why is PeteButtigieg not being held accountable for making the system safer?

No mention of you know who. Yes Mayor Pete.

Yeah, because Washington has done nothing. Instead funneling billions to Ukraine. Disgusting.

It’s amazing how the government dumps money into fighting things because people make bad decisions, but when citizens through no fault of their own needs help nothing but talk

-donlemon “the biggest threat to American society is white people” verbatim. You are fake news.

Don't welcome anger as a friend.

No sympathy for these magas who support the lies of Donald Trump lies that left over a million people dead from Covid, Trump's efforts to destroy our democracy is something these people support. So enjoy this ride traitors

Makes sense to interrupt someone when they’re bullshitting you to your faces. CNN should reconsider their headline. Something like “Resident suffering from toxic chemical spill struggle to hold railroad company accountable” seems more accurate.

Btw, the name East Palastine is pronounced Pales tine. Too say it as Palas stine means it would have 2 S's.

Remembering big companies swearing Cigarettes do not Harm.. we all know better about toxic chemicals in our ground water, on our walls, embedded in our carpets, clothing, running a muck on windy days, contaminating air & the soil that grows our food!

Those residents are right to speak out. The railroad company owner should've been cleaned up that mess. They have the money!

Old fart Joey doesn't care

You’d think exploding chemicals in the middle of a town would be a last resort. Who authorized that? The Gov. Mike DeWinr had to know this was going to happen before they did it.
