Knowing it would lose the user signals that made its ads business so lucrative, Meta heavily invested in artificial intelligence. Its AI tool, Advantage+, is designed to improve campaign performance by helping advertisers find audiences and automatically choosing where to place ads across Meta's properties.
"It's basically taking the legwork out," Ben-Zvi said."It's been a general boost towards efficiency."
