The Medical Board will this week release new rules for telehealth companies, who often prescribe medicine through online questionnaires rather than face-to-face consultations.
Some companies are being investigated for not recognising adverse drug reactions in their patients or handing out prescriptions over an extended period of time without real-time appointments.
