Marvell Technology Inc. will report earnings Thursday afternoon on the heels of mind-blowing results from Nvidia Corp., but Marvell’s artificial-intelligence sales may not be enough to make up for weakness in more traditional computing areas.
Mizuho desk analyst Jordan Klein said in a Thursday note that while Nvidia “gets all the attention and seems to suck most oxygen out of room,” investors should keep a close eye on stocks like Marvell after Nvidia NVDA, +2.91% blew away expectations in its earnings and outlook late Wednesday.
