Published: Jun. 12, 2024 at 9:17 AM EDTCLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland Browns legend Bernie Kosar has filed a lawsuit against a local digital podcast company.
According to the lawsuit, Kosar was told by BIGPLAY co-manager David McAllester he would need to personally place a $19,000 bet on the Cleveland Browns during a charity event on Dec. 31, 2022. The lawsuit says the bet went against the talent agreement Kosar signed with the company. The lawsuit also says BIGPLAY co-manager Kendall Myles threatened to hit Kosar in September 2023, saying he wanted to fight the former Browns QB.
