Ramaphosa addressed a joint sitting of Parliament at the Cape Town City hall last night.

The ANC chief whip Mdumiseni Ntuli says his party has realised that much of the progress that the ANC has made, such as housing, economic growth and provision of services such as electricity has been reversed in the recent past.

“The period between 2008 and 2022, saw a major reversal of strategic gains. Set back on the advancement of democratic revolution. May election outcome confirmed despite that ANC resolved to forge unity amongst South Africans across race, religion, creed and that support unwavering,” says Ntuli.

“We need serious revolution in this country to turn things around in the country. Rural areas in the main are not taken seriously, while the struggle continues for section 25 to be amended…”“What I find striking is so many parties campaigned against ANC, said they would never work with ANC but when offered blue lights, suddenly worked with ANC.”Dr Mandlakayise John Hlophe.
