Action SA expressed concern about NPA’s decision to withdraw charges against 95 Libyans.

On Thursday, the NPA announced its decision to withdraw all charges against the Libyans who were accused of contravening the Immigration Act.Party leader Herman Mashaba says the NPA has failed South Africans.

“Our court system should have really established the identities of each and every one of them to understand why they’ve decided to come and do military training in South Africa, what were they aiming to do. “ So for us as South Africans now all of a sudden no one is telling us why these people contravened our immigration laws, why were these people doing military training on the grounds of SA. And our government just decided to send them back to Libya. And I think we’ve got to be really careful and question this as SA,” he adds.
