In a move that was seen as important to keeping Whole Foods as a Cedar Center South tenant, University Heights City Council approved legislation that will allow for a pocket park and new parking lot at the rear of the store, at Warrensville Center and Cedar roads.
Cedar Center owners will replace the building with a pocket park creating a spot for outdoor eating and an additional 16 parking spaces. The park will not be exclusive to eating food purchased at Whole Foods.
